Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems LLC d/b/a Verizon has submitted a Site Plan Review Application to install a 130' cell phone tower at 24 Post Office Road. This webpage is provided to keep citizens informed of the status of the application and opportunities to participate in the process. All Planning Board proceedings are open to the public. Here is the history so far, and the tentative schedule:
June 23, 2026 Planning Board Special Meeting to review the Verizon cell phone tower pre-application materials and prepare for the expected Final Application submission, and to review the Site Plan Review process in general
July 8, 2026 Planning Board Regular Meeting: Address conflicts of interest and set schedule for Verizon Site Plan Review process
July 28, 2026: Planning Board Special Meeting at Old Town Hall, 1217 Main Rd., 6:00 PM to review Verizon Site Plan Application with Verizon representatives present to answer questions - public is encouraged to attend
August 12, 2026: Planning Board Regular Meeting, location TBD, 6:00 PM: Tentative vote on Verizon application completeness
September 9, 2026: Planning Board Regular Meeting, location TBD, 6:00 PM: Tentative vote on Verizon Site Plan Application
