Congratulations on joining our Westport Island community! We’re so glad you’re here! We hope you are settling in well and want to offer some tips and resources to help you get acquainted with our town.

First of all - take some time to explore our website! Here you will find a wealth of knowledge about our community and town government. 

We recommend you follow our official Westport Island Facebook page for town announcements. There is also the Westport Island Facebook group, which is not affiliated with the town government, but is a great place to keep in touch with your neighbors.

Please fill out our contact information form to receive helpful reminders for things like vehicle registrations, dog licensing, and property taxes, and you can opt to be added to our monthly town newsletter, and text alerts.

Finally, don't forget to stop by the Town Office at 6 Fowles Point Road ASAP to register your vehicles, register any dogs you own, register to vote, and get proof of residency for school enrollment and to use Wiscasset services including the Transfer Station, Library and Recreation Center.
